Hey mamas & papas! If you’re looking for clean cut reviews you’re in the wrong place. If you want an honest review, the good the bad and the ugly, then STAY! Here at The Honest Mum’s Review section my aim is to provide realistic feedback on products we use for our son. The ridiculous things we’ve brought because it was recommended, but totally shit! Anyway I’ll jump right into the review on the Compact Stroller Review.
Compact Strollers are perfect for travelling
So listen up, if you’re looking for a stroller to go travelling or fit in a small boot this is the perfect Compact Stroller. It doesn’t cost too much, you can shop around to get a good deal too! We got ours from John Lewis as we needed it for the next day. So it was more about convenience for us at the time than getting a great deal! I’m pretty sure you can get it cheaper on Amazon, if not it’s ALWAYS worth shopping around or getting one second hand.
Just give it a good clean. We took ours on holiday and it was perfect! We even dragged it on the beach, which is easier than you think too. My mum gave us a little hack on dragging it through the sand, do it backwards! So much easier.
The Joie Pact Stroller was and is perfect for us. It fits in my tiny boot along with a few bags of shopping. I have also mastered opening & closing it one handed. It’s not that difficult but watching my husband trying to open the damn thing is comical.
The sun shade is also UPF 50*, so perfect for holidays & protecting those little ones from the sun. It also comes with a handy travel bag, so you just pop it in, zip it up and carry it through the airport if baby isn’t in it. Just make sure to get it tagged as hand luggage!
This compact stroller is suitable from birth, as it comes with car seat adaptors and you can lay it completley flat. I personally wouldn’t use it from birth as it just isn’t as sturdy as my travel system.
Now my only con is the rain cover. That little fucker drives me up the wall. When it’s tipping it down and I’m soaking wet looking like a drowned cat! Rain droplets going down my butt whilst I’m bent over trying to secure the poppers at the bottom of the stroller! I always feel like I’ve put it on wrong as well, I should probably google it but I’m too stubborn. Determined to figure it out myself as well.
